What's My Kawaii Backstory?
Sanrio was part of my childhood, like most who grew up in the 80's and 90's, and I don't think I've ever grew out of it. I'm pretty Sanrio was first introduced to me by my mom, and eventually it was a staple gift on every birthday. If I could hold on to those items I had back then I would, I don't think I appreciated it as much as I do now. Eventually as time went on, I ventured off to anime and other kawaii.
Why I still love kawaii things, it brings me back to a time when I didn't have any worries or insecurities. It also just feels good to have nice and cute items. It just somehow makes me feel special. This is also the reason why I decided to open a shop, to help others day a little bit brighter.
